We currently have one stinker of a cat named Selah. We got her almost two years ago She is a pain the rear and likes to back talk me when I ask her to remove herself from sitting on our entertainment stand or any other location that is off limits.. You know. Counters, tables and the homeschool table while we are trying to work. She likes to try and bite the erasers on the pencils while the kids are writing. I point at her then to the ground and tell her to get down. She then meows at me and waits for me to get within a few feet from her. Meows again, gives me a dirty look and jumps down. Even though she is difficult.. She is also the sweetest cat ever. She allows my children to carry her around with a
death grip loving hold constantly. Whether they are sitting on the couch with her trapped under their blanket or use their body as a human tent over her body. lol My munchkins love love LOVE their kitty.
Well I started out the day with the plan of blogging about gardening, snow, new veggies and my current garden journal for this coming spring. I was looking for a gardening photo from last spring on my external hard drive when I came across this photo that changed my entire thought process..
This is photo number 4 out of hundreds maybe thousands my kids have taken of Selah. This one just cracks me up. It's WAY out of focus and blurry, but an up close and personal look of our kittys nose.
And just so you can see how happy she is sitting in her chair. I think she is saying... "Enough with the pictures, the flash is blinding me!"

You may complain, but it sounds to me like Selah is pretty much a benevolent dictator! Over here, we rule with an iron paw.
Your kitty sounds a lot like our Ella Grace. I gave her that middle name because when she was little she was NOT graceful at all and many things were knocked over. Now she is a big fat fluffy thing and she isn't much better. She has so much personality and has to be in everyone's business. When we got her the other cat was not very accepting so Ella depends on us humans for entertainment, therefore she feels the need to do everything we do...dishes, laundry, reading...you name it and she has to know what is going on and be in the middle of it. You can't be mad at her though because she will jump in your arms and wrap her little arms around you and lick you right in the face. I have never met anyone like Ella. You have inspired me to write about her in my other blog, Annie's Savvy Cafe.
It's funny how crazy cats are. They are so adorable yet so irritating all at the same time. I'll have to swing by your site to read about Ella Grace. :)
Now I must go and get our kitty some water as she is thirsty and waiting for me. She will only drink out of the bathroom sink, unless of course the water is in a glass cup with ice.. :rolls eyes: Silly kitty!
