That is the question!
A couple years ago my husbands Grandfather passed away and we were blessed with a couple acres here in montana. At the moment, the land has no utilities at all. With our tight budget we haven't wanted to take out a loan to get the septic/well and electric put in. I have been wanting to get out of this stinking townhouse and to stop paying someone else's mortgage payment. So I went on a search of low cost eco friendly housing that we could live in while getting the property ready for permanent living. This little round house came up in my search and I must say.. I WANT ONE! lol There was just one problem and then questions started popping into my mind... We live in Montana. Which means cold winters. Would it keep the family warm? Would we go stir crazy living in one? Would it hold up through the snow? Can I convince my husband that this would be a good thing to do?
So here we go... I'm going to dive into the net feet first and see what all I can learn about this interesting dwelling. And maybe, just maybe in a year or so I'll have my very own! lol
